28 January 2010 – Moulmein Clinches Inaugural Inter-Constiuency Championship.
A total of 225 players from 60 constituencies in Singapore took part in the inaugural event. The objective
is to promote Chess in the heartlands and grassroots. The Singapore Chess Federation is grateful to the
Ang Mo Kio Secondary School for hosting the event in their school hall.
Moulmein Constituency fielded the most players and took away the overall Championship title with 54.5 ponts.
Not very far behind was Ulu Pandan with 43.5 points and emerging third was Serangoon with 38.5 points.
