1. Organiser:
This is a FIDE Rated Tournament organised by the Singapore Chess Federation, played under the FIDE Laws of Chess, and the following rules.
2. Eligibility:
Category 1 – Grade A to C
Category 2 – Grade D to G
3. Venue:
SCF, 51 Bishan Street 13, #02-01A SIGC (Bishan CC), Singapore 579799

5. Format:
Swiss System, 7 rounds, 90 minutes per player, with increment of 30 seconds per move.
6. Entry Fee: $60/- For all players.
7. Prizes:
Category 1 : 1st – $250 ; 2nd – $150 ; 3rd – $100 ; 4th – $50 ; 5th – $50
Category 2 : 1st – $200 ; 2nd – $125 ; 3rd – $75 ; 4th – $50 ; 5th – $50
(In the event of tie, Prize money to be shared) Trophy to Top 10.
8. Closing Date:
Thursday, 12 Feb 2014 by 6 pm or first 50 entries. Late fee of $100 shall apply, subject to SCF approval. Entries without payment will not be accepted. Entry Fees are non-refundable.
9. In the event of any disputes (outside the FIDE Laws of Chess), the Organizer's decision shall be final and no further correspondence shall be entertained.
10. FIDE ZERO START rule shall apply. Please check correctness of your entry on www.singaporechess.org.sg as we may not make changes on the day of the tournament. Please visit our website regularly for updates.
